Cabin Comforts

Cabins have been refreshed with new beds, bedding, microwaves, and refrigerators. They include mini-splits that provide heating and cooling. These updates support a comfortable stay and provide reliable essentials for guests returning from full days spent outdoors.

Shared Grilling and Fire Areas

Our communal grilling area and shared firepit create space to cook meals and gather. We offer a large flat top grill, a propane grill, and a large pizza oven for you to choose how to enjoy your next best meal. These areas encourage relaxed evenings and simple outdoor enjoyment within the campground setting.

Pavilion and Shower House

A communal pavilion offers a place to enjoy coffee, relax, or play games. Our on-site shower house provides hot showers, giving guests a convenient way to refresh after active days. We also offer large, warm, fluffy towels giving you an even higher level of comfort.

Kool Deadwood Nites

Each August, Deadwood turns into a hub for classic-car culture during this multi-day celebration of vintage vehicles and oldies-era fun. Visitors can watch a Main Street parade, browse show-and-shine displays, and catch live entertainment tied to the weekend’s events. The schedule typically centers on late August, with the 2026 dates listed as August 18 through August 23.

Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is one of the largest and most iconic motorcycle gatherings in the world, held every August in and around Sturgis, South Dakota, just a short ride from Lead. Thousands of motorcyclists converge for group rides, concerts, stunt shows, vendor exhibitions, and scenic tours of the Black Hills. The George S. Mickelson Trail runs directly alongside our campground, offering immediate access for biking, hiking, and outdoor exploration. This 109-mile trail connects Deadwood to Edgemont and is a major draw for visitors seeking Black Hills recreation.
